Service Delivery Review

In December 2020, Council received the final service delivery review report prepared by KPMG.  

A service delivery review (SDR) is an evaluation process in which municipal services are systematically reviewed to determine the most appropriate way to provide them. As municipalities and the needs of their citizens change, some services that have been provided in the past may no longer be needed, or perhaps there is a better way to deliver them. Often times a review of the service is necessary to address budgetary pressures or to improve efficiencies and practice fiscal restraint. From the results of a SDR, Council and staff can make informed strategic choices regarding municipal services.
