Recreation Programs and Day Camps—Refunds, Transfers and Credits Policy

By-law 10-2026 Being a By-law to adopt a Recreation Programs and Day Camps—Refunds, Transfers and Credits Policy

Whereas under s.5 (3) of the Municipal Act, 5.0. 2001, c25, as amended (the "Act"), requires a municipal Council to exercise its powers by by-law, except where otherwise provided; and,

Whereas under s.11 (1) of the Act, a municipality may provide any service or thing that the municipality considers necessary or desirable for the public, subject to the rules as set out in subsection (4); and

Whereas Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bluewater deems it desirable to adopt a Recreation Programs and Day Camps-Refunds, Transfers and Credits Policy;

Now therefore The Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bluewater enacts as follows:

1. THAT the Recreation Programs and Day Camps-Refunds, Transfers and Credits Policy attached as Schedule "A" is hereby adopted.
2. THAT Schedule "A" forms part of this by-law.
3. THAT By-law 118-2024 is hereby repealed.
4. THAT this By-law shall come into effect on the date of passing.
