Notice of Public Meeting

Date: Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.

Location: A hybrid meeting allowing for both electronic and in-person attendees. In person attendees may attend Council Chambers, Stanley Community Centre, 38594 Mill Rd, Varna, ON N0M 2R0.

Purpose and effect

The purpose and effect of this application for Zoning By-law Amendment (application # Blu Z02-2026) is to permit two (2) Additional Residential Units (ARU) in accessory structures on an AG1 (General Agriculture) parcel when a maximum of one (1) ARU is permitted in an accessory structure. The application also seeks to permit one (1) ARU at a maximum separation of 97 metres from the main dwelling when a maximum permitted separation of 60m is required. The application also seeks relief to recognize an interior side yard setback to an existing accessory structure being used as an ARU of 6.59 metres when a minimum of 7.5 metres is required. The subject lands are designated Agriculture in the Bluewater Official Plan and Zoned AG1 (General Agriculture) in the Bluewater Zoning By-law.
