Council Highlights—November 2

At its Regular Meeting of Council on November 2, 2026, Council of the Municipality of Bluewater:

• Supported the Huron County Roads Supervisors Association’s bid to host the 2029 Municipal Trade Show in Central Huron.
• Appointed Ria Heagle to the Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee for a term of four years.
• Adopted the 2025 Asset Management Plan.
• Approved the Bluewater Winter Operations Plan for the 2026 - 2027 winter maintenance season.
• Awarded Request for Proposal BW-Fire-02-2026 for the supply and delivery of Thirty two (32) Current NFPA Edition 4500 psi Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, Sixty four (64) 4500 psi composite bottle, sixty four (64) face pieces, Four (4) Rapid intervention Kits and Management Software to A.J. Stone Company Ltd. in the amount of $458,608.00 excluding HST.
