Additional program information
The Municipality of Bluewater is excited to offer Yoga with MJ in Bayfield this summer. This evening yoga program runs Wednesdays from June 3 to July 15 from 7–8 p.m. (excluding July 1) at the Bayfield Community Centre upper hall. This class is great for a variety of experience levels. Participants will focus on movement, flexibility, and wellness. Interested yogis may register for the full session or attend individual drop-in classes. Register online at through ActiveNet.
Bluewater will be hosting a special social luncheon and screening on June 12th of We Lend a Hand: The Forgotten Story of Ontario Farmerettes, a powerful documentary sharing the incredible true story of the 40,000 teenage girls who helped sustain Canadian farms during the Second World War.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with a BBQ chicken lunch catered by Pineridge BBQ served at 12:00 p.m. The film screening will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Lunch tickets are $15 per person. Those wishing to attend only the movie are welcome to join free of charge beginning at 12:45 p.m.
