Appeal Hearing—June 18th

There will be a short-term rental application appeal hearing on June 18th starting at 4 p.m. This hearing will be virtual only. The meeting will be livestreamed to the Municipal YouTube channel. A meeting agenda with a link to the livestream has been posted to our council portal.

As a reminder, the Statutory Powers Procedure Act shall apply. While Council composes the body that will be hearing the appeals, Council will be acting as a quasi-judicial body. This means that Council will be functioning akin to a court, and not in a legislative governance capacity. Council will make a decision based on the evidence provided.
