Subdivisions and Condominiums
Subdivision of land into smaller parcels may occur by plan of subdivision or plan of condominium. Subdivision approval ensures that the land is suitable for its proposed new use, the proposal conforms with the Official Plan and Zoning By-law and other legislation.
You can search subdivision and condominium plans for the original lot parcels, streets, blocks and walkways for existing registered plans of subdivision and condominiums in the municipality. Please contact the Development Services Department if you wish to view these plans. You need to know the plan number for your property before starting your search. The plan number is found in your property’s legal description.
