Using Cloudpermit

The Municipality of Bluewater is pleased to offer residents, builders, and the business community in our service area Cloudpermit—an online system to apply for and track your building and planning permits.

What is Cloudpermit?

Cloudpermit is a cloud-based internet service that is free to use. It allows applicants to complete the appropriate application or licence and upload required documents for electronic submission. The first time you use it, you'll be asked to create an account and a confirmation email will be sent to you. This email might go to your trash or junk folder so if you don't see it in your inbox, please check there. Follow the instructions provided by Cloudpermit to complete the registration process.

The Cloudpermit system allows you to apply for and see the status of your application anywhere, at any time. You can start an application and finish it later and receive email updates on the status of your application. You can even request building inspections and planning pre-consultation meetings!

Before starting the application process, we recommend reviewing Cloudpermit's support page where you will find userguides and videos for many Cloudpermit functions.

At this time, applicants are still required to pay required permit fees at our office at 23 Goshen St. North, Zurich.

Getting started with Cloudpermit

Before starting your application in Cloudpermit, please review Bluewater's information for the specific permit, application or licence. This information will tell you what is required to complete your application.

You only need to create one Cloudpermit account for all Cloudpermit applications.

Once you register for your account, you can get help from staff by sending a message through your Cloudpermit app.
